Acts Pg 2

Chapter 18

In Corinth, to Paul in the night by a vision

9Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: 10for I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

Chapter 20

In Miletus, Paul speaks to the elders of the church in Ephesus

35remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said,

It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Chapter 21

In Caesarea, in the house of Philip the evangelist, Agabus prophesies to Paul

11Thus saith the Holy Ghost,

So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Chapter 22

Paul recounts his experience on the way to Damascus

11And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me,

7Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

8I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

10Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

To Paul as he was in a trance while praying in the temple at Jerusalem

18Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.

21Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.

Chapter 23

In a castle in Jerusalem, to Paul

11Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

Chapter 26

In Caesarea, Paul testifies to King Agrippa concerning what Jesus spoke to him

14Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

15I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

These are the great and true words of Jesus, as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles.

Heaven and earth shall passaway:
but my words shall not pass away
